Vestel's goal is to achieve controlled and continuous increases in revenues and profitability by focusing on its core business activity of producing high-quality consumer goods.

Europe will remain Vestel's principal market and the Company intends to remain involved in that market in order to keep abreast of and respond to new trends and to add new products to its existing portfolio.

In order to defend its superior market position, Vestel plans to invest still more in research and development. The Company intends to increase the overall share of "A" brands in its product portfolio.

Vestel plans to make geographical expansion the main engine of its future growth and development. Its sights will be set initially on Russia and former Community of Independent States countries and subsequently on Central Asia and India.

Vestel will be giving increasingly more importance to original design manufacturer activities and services.

The Turkish domestic market will continue to play an important role in all of the Company's business activities.

The areas identified by Vestel as its most important avenues of future development are consumer electronics and white goods. Vestel will focus on growth in these two areas in the Turkish domestic market as well as in exports.
